I am a makeup artist who has worked with many modeling agencies, including Industria Model & Talent, On Track Modeling (Alpha Model Group), etc.
I am writing you because it continues to amaze me that you have every name listed on your website from Kerry Killowitz to Doug Hill, but you do not list the main photographer who works with most of the offenders in the southeast: FREDDIE FAULKENBERRY aka GABRIEL ISAAC aka FRED E. FAULKENBERRY.
HE SAYS HE IS FROM GREECE BUT HAS NO ACCENT. HE SAYS HE LIVES IN NEW YORK BUT HIS ADDRESS IS IN NORTH CAROLINA. HE HAS A NEW YORK CELL PHONE REGISTERED WITH T-MOBILE LISTED UNDER A FALSE ADDRESS (to make himself seem more legitimate to would-be models or employers).
One man--so many names--pick one!!!
I am no longer freelancing in this industry, and you may understand why, but a year later I am owed thousands of dollars from this man--whatever his real name may be! Money was collected from models with the understanding a portion was going to the makeup artist/ stylist and I was never paid!!!
I am as much a victim as the models! Although they received a photoshoot, I never received compensation for my services, including product and travel.
Your website names countless models who were scammed but no makeup artists. In fact on these photoshoots Freddie insisted my phone number was given to these models not his... now I know why.
You keep naming owners & employees who work for these photo mills, but what I cannot understand is why you have yet to name the photographer who jumps around to countless agencies, state to state to state, all the while dodging left-behind models (makeup artists, too).
He uses a seemingly legitimate portfolio to make these models feel at ease--all the while knowing he is contributing to a scam!!! Please post this information to help not only makeup artists like me but to help deter hopeful models from working with this man.
