"They have four seminars - Intro to TV and Film Acting with Brooke Bundy, A Photo Shoot, The Business of Acting with Brooke Bundy and a Mgmt and Casting Event with top NY Casting Directors (for commercials, soaps etc.) Yes, the fee is $1,500. What do you think of this?"2

> What do you think of this?

Who is Brooke Bundy? You'll have to ask the credentials of anyone whom you would pay to hear. To get an appraisal on the value of the seminars and the "casting event," ask for Bundy's credentials plus a breakdown of the pricing for the $1,500. Then ask the success rate of the casting event. (How many earned more than $1,500?)

Considering the fact 71% of SAG members earned under $7,500 a year,3 $1,500 seems very expensive.
