Nigerian Scam Offers for Bogus Grants Internet Fraud

The website www.nashaat.org is offering grants of various amounts for a multitude of things and promise approval in 1-2 days.  All you have to do is pay a $10 processing fee for each grant you apply for.

My daughter fell for it...and is still being promised the money... which of course is in the mail!  Thank goodness she did not give out her bank info!

It also looks like they are involved in getting people to work from home with www.webspawner\com/users/nashaat1/

The virtually all inclusive nature of their grant availability list is both imaginative and insidious as it preys on the needy and marks another progression from the high end businessman victim who loses $10,000 on average right down to the unwed mother on welfare who sends in her $10.

The inclusion of the 9/11 victims in their fraud is certain to outrage some and may prove to be a mistake on their part.

Nashaat is a private, family-owned company with interests in the Oil Industry. Our second key interest is charity and humanities. We offer a total of 310 grants and 10 gifts, ranging from Health Care funding to Small Business funding. We began our charity work in October 2000 and to date have funded over 8,739,308 SFranc in grants.

Our Mission is to offer aid to those individuals in need, which should be a simple procedure. The goal for this year is to fund 13,496,300 SFranc grants. So, why not try for it, you have absolutely nothing to lose because we tell you whether you qualify before you pay a solitary cent.

The filing fee is 32 SFranc to cover administrative costs. Clients only pay this once per application. Anyone can apply for as many grants as you need, providing the grants do not have stipulations listed. To help save cost, each individual can apply for a maximum of 2 grants per application.

Funds are based in Switzerland, however, we will issue grants in the currency of the applicant's country of residence.

Frequently Asked Questions

“How can Nashaat guarantee a grant or gift?"
Basically, the grants are funded by company profits, so we dictate the criteria for qualifying. We are sure everyone will not qualify for every grant because we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to better their financial situation or receive aid.

“How do I qualify?"
First of all, every grant we offer has the same income restriction; no more than 55,900 SFranc per household per year if the U.S. or the comparable cost-of-living equivalency in other countries per currency exchanges. Each grant has its own specific criteria for qualifying. Be sure to take a look at the Grant List as it contains all the rules and stipulations.

“Why does Nashaat give money away?"
As devout Muslims, the Board of Directors have moral and religious obligations to give to those in need. We function with the same charity structure and missions as any religious charity.

“How long does it take to receive my grant?"
The typical funding time is 2-4 weeks for most grants. On the Grant List, you will see corresponding timing for each grant. However, timing is truly based on how quickly we can verify your information and how soon you provide us with supporting documentation.

“What if I cannot pay the fee when Nashaat requests it?"
For those who cannot pay the fee, we can hold the application upon notice. If you for-see a problem in paying the fees, we will hold your application for 30 days.

“Does Nashaat discriminate?"
Absolutely not. We provide service to all people. Where our family and extended family are from does not have color barriers, however, we do understand general public concern. We offer funding to everyone, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sex, or affiliation.

Are you ready? If so, make sure you read everything carefully and understand before you submit. If you have questions, feel free to email us at registration.grants\\nashaat.org

Hit and Run

I have been duped out of $20 by the Nashaat grant scheme and would like to know what would be the next step in stopping these twits from nailing anybody else?

The physical address is out of Tennessee, but at this point, all internet and email links are dead. As of yesterday, their site had a static page that stated the grants website had been withdrawn, and the only way to get a hold of them was a fax number.

I don't expect my $20 back, but I would like to stop them from defrauding the public. The last email I got from Nashaat had this address:

Grants c/o Nashaat
1434 Jefferson Avenue
Suite 1
Memphis, TN  38104
Email: accounts\\nashaat.org

This is my first time in my life I have been nailed like this. I guess for $20 it was a cheap lesson to learn! My son, who is going to school in CA and some people from his church will lose out also.
